The Glenwood Springs Branch Library is a public library serving more than 10,000 residents in the city of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It is an affiliate branch of the Garfield County Public Library District (GCPLD). Founded in 1969, the Glenwood Springs Branch Library was opened in response to rising demand for library services and a larger area. It adds to the county system's overall resources, which include more than 150,000 books and serial volumes, nearly 11,000 e-books, more than 11,000 audio files, and more than 17,000 video files. Also, the library system saw more than 660,000 visitors annually, nearly 670,000 items circulated, and over 46,000 registered borrowers.
