The Glenn A. Jones, M.D. Memorial Library serves over 18,200 residents in the Johnstown Municipality of Weld County, Colorado. The library belongs to the High Plains Library District, which maintains approximately 640,700 volumes and circulates 2.7 million items per year. The branch opened its doors in 1965, became a part of the District Library in 1985, and now has expanded collections of fiction and nonfiction books, books on CD, music CDs, movies, DVDs, flashcards, reader kits, and magazines. Additionally, it offers public computers, storytimes, book clubs, and other events.
