The Ewald Branch Library serves more than 11,000 residents in the city of Grosse Pointe Park in Wayne County, Michigan. It was opened in 2005 as a replacement for the old Park Branch. The branch has two-story windows, a big fireplace, Arts and Crafts design elements, a cathedral ceiling, and comfortable seats. It contributes to the aggregate collection of more than 170,000 book and serial volumes, nearly 6,500 eBooks, almost 22,000 audio files, and more than 25,000 video files. Additionally, with more than 22,000 registered borrowers and more than half a million visits, it has recorded almost 600,000 items being circulated for the year on all three sites.
