The Edward Smith Library serves 14,158 residents in the City of North Branford and is one of the two locations of the North Branford Public Libraries. The Library System maintains 68,025 volumes and circulates 108,270 items per year. Edward Smith Library opened its doors in 1956. It is open for services from Mondays through Saturdays. It provides computers, printing, faxing, copying, interlibrary loans, notary public, and Summer Reading programs.
