The Donelson Branch Library is one of the 20 branches of the Nashville Public Library that serves 1.5 million people in Davidson County, TN. The library maintains more than 1.6 million volumes and circulates more than 4.6 million items yearly. These items include books, e-books, audio, videos, and magazines across different topic areas. The library opened in 1966 and has expanded to accommodate private study rooms, designated children and teens areas, multi-purpose rooms, and study furniture in its proposed new building.
