The Dalton Branch Library serves 1,764 residents in the Twin Lake area of Muskegon County. The library is one of the northern branches of the Muskegon Area District Library that opened in March 1959. It maintains collections of juvenile and adult fiction books, magazines, music, movies, and local history resources and circulates approximately 33,800 items per year. In addition, it provides public computers with internet and Office products, WiFi, faxing/printing/copying services, wireless printing, monthly book clubs, storytime events, and other library programs.
