The Cheyenne Mountain Branch Library is an affiliate library of the Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) that serves almost half a million residents in the city of Colorado Springs, at the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. PPLD started 136 years ago as a reading room. Today, together with the other 20 sites, Cheyenne Mountain Branch contributes to the total collection of PPLD, which includes more than 1.1 million volumes, circulated more than 1.3 million items, and received almost 700,000 visitors.
