Founded in 1966, it maintains 428,084 volumes and circulates approximately 4.1 million items annually. Its collections span fiction, nonfiction, audiobooks, music, movies & TVs, and digital materials. It hosts a number of events such as art gallery exhibitions and ancient Egyptian fashion and offers programs for children, teens, and adults.
