The Alexandria Branch Library is one of the two locations of the Dekalb County Library System that serves 980 residents of Alexandria City. The library holds collections of 32,400 books and serial volumes, 84,350 electronic books, 4,100 audio, and 4,300 videos, and circulates over 77,700 items per year. It provides storytimes, book sales, tabletop games, summer reading, and homeschooling events, as well as interlibrary loans, printing, scanning, copying, and faxing services.
