The Belleville Area District Library, formerly Fred C. Fischer Public Library, serves the residents in the City of Belleville, the Township of Sumpter, and the Charter Township of Van Buren. The library is housed in a 30,000-square-foot building and houses collections of books of different genres, audiobooks, magazines, movies, and digital materials. Belleville Area District Library provides programs for all ages, including storytime, book clubs, and tech tutoring.
