The Tukwila Library serves 21,600 residents in the city of Tukwila and is one of the branches of the King County Library System. The library system maintains 3.6 million volumes and circulates 20.3 million items per year. The Tukwila Library is publicly funded and occupies a 10,000 square-foot building opened in April 2017. In addition to books, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, music, movies, TVs, DVDs, and World language materials, the Tukwila Branch offers computers, a fax machine, printers, copier, scanner, meeting and study rooms, WiFi, Online Health and social services visits, family storytime, and genealogy help. It is open several hours a week for in-person services and offers a book drop service.
