The Covington Branch of the King County Library System serves about 20,700 residents in the City of Covington. The library system maintains 3.6 million volumes and circulates approximately 20.3 million items per year, including books, audiobooks, videos, movies, TVs, and music for kids and adults. The Covington Library opened its doors in April 1993 and currently occupies a 23,000-square-foot building featuring study and meeting rooms, computers, WiFi, printers, a scanner, a photocopier, a fax machine, and other facilities. Located at the intersection of Highway 18 and Kent Kangley Road, the Branch library is open for in-person services from Monday to Saturday and offers a book drop and a range of events for all ages.
