The Benton City Library serves about 3,400 residents of Benton City. The library is one of the 12 branches of the Mid-Columbia Libraries, which maintains approximately 273,000 volumes and circulates two million items per year, including books, audiobooks, eBooks, movies, TVs, and periodicals. Established in 1909 by F. L. Pitman, the Benton City Library provides library resources, public computers, WiFi, and storytime events. It also serves as one of the donation sites for Heather's Pantry.
