The Algona-Pacific Library serves 7,022 residents in the City of Pacific and is part of the King County Library. The Library System maintains 3.6 million volumes and circulates 20.3 million items per year. Algona-Pacific Library opened in July 1994 as a combination of Algona and Pacific Libraries. It is housed in a 5,250-square-foot building and holds collections of books, eBooks, audiobooks, music, movies, and TVs. It has public computers, printers, meeting and study rooms, WiFi, a scanner/photocopier, and a fax machine. The Algona-Pacific Library is open Monday to Saturday and offers book drop, in-library services, and various programs for all ages.
