The Hillyard Branch Library is one of the Spokane Public Libraries that serves 229,000 residents in the City of Spokane. The library system maintains 435,900 volumes and circulates roughly two million items per year, including books, audiobooks, music, periodicals, and movies. The Hillyard Branch, located on the Shaw Middle School campus, provides a seed library, meeting and study rooms, a lactation area for nursing mothers, a children's playspace, eight public computers, free WiFi, and a 3D printer. In addition to printing, scanning, copying, and faxing services, it offers daily self-service hours and library events for all patrons.
