The Shoreline Library is a part of the King County Library System and serves 58,600 residents in the City of Shoreline. The library system maintains 3.6 million volumes and circulates 20.3 million items per year, including books, audiobooks, periodicals, music, movies, and DVDs. The Shoreline Branch opened its doors in 1966 and now occupies a 20,954-square-foot building with computers, printers, a scanner, a copier, a fax machine, meeting and study rooms, WiFi, and World language materials. The library offers book drop and in-person services, family storytime, summer meals, genealogy help, and creativity clubs.
