The Richmond Beach Library serves about 58,600 residents in the city of Shoreline and is a part of the King County Library System. The library system holds a collection of 3.6 million volumes and circulates 20.3 million items per year, including books, music, movies, and DVDs. The Richmond Beach Library is publicly funded and occupies a 5,250-square-foot building that opened in 2001 featuring meeting and study rooms, computers, WiFi, printing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying machines, and World language materials. It offers book drop services, family storytime, genealogy help, online Google basics training, and other events.
