The Renton Highlands Public Library is a branch of the King County Library, serving 105,179 residents in Renton. The Library System maintains 3.6 million volumes and circulates 20.3 million items per year. Renton Highlands Public Library was founded in 1944 to serve wartime housing residents. It opened in its current 15,000-square-foot structure in 2016. It provides collections of books, DVDs, music, media, and world language materials as well as computers with printing, WiFi, meeting & study rooms, photocopy/scan devices, and a fax machine. Renton Highlands Branch hosts various virtual programs, including Online Tutoring, STEM, Family Storytime, and Workshops.
