The Poulsbo Library serves about 10,900 residents of Poulsbo and is a part of the Kitsap Regional Library. The library system maintains 438,500 volumes and circulates two million items per year. The Poulsbo Library was founded in 1918 by the local Civic Club and was managed by the City of Poulsbo, which transferred ownership of the library to the Kitsap Regional Library in 2017. The library offers preschool and baby storytime, book groups, library games, movies & crafts, gardening activities, and health & wellness discussions. In addition, meeting and study rooms, public computers, free WiFi, copy, fax, scan, print, and curbside services are all available at the library.
