The La Center Community Library serves 3,700 residents of La Center City in Clark County. The library is one of the Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries, which maintains over 653,700 volumes and circulates 4.2 million items per year. The La Center Community Branch opened to the public in May 2004 and now records more than 25,000 library visits and 69,400 items in circulation in a fiscal year. The library is publicly funded and is housed in a 3,380-square-foot building with computers, print, copy, scan, and fax machines. It offers family storytime, storytelling, crafts, adult book clubs, and other programs in English and Spanish.
