The Buckley Pierce County Library, a publicly funded and managed library and an affiliate of the Pierce County Library System, serves more than 5,000 residents in Buckley, a city in Pierce County, Washington. The history of the Buckley Pierce County Library dates back to as early as 1903, when the Woman’s Musical and Literacy Club started an independent library in a building that later became City Hall. It was in 1965 that the Buckley Library branch was officially opened. The current Buckley Library was built in 1991, a 4,100-square-foot area. Additionally, meeting and study rooms, free Wi-Fi access, computers, printing, scanning, and copying, and fax machines are just a few of the services available for community use. There is curbside service offered.
