The Scottsville Library is a Jefferson-Madison Regional Library member that serves 530 residents in the City of Scottsville. The Scottsville Branch opened in 1959 and moved to its current location in 1982, a 3,900-square-foot building. It holds collections of 22,000 materials, circulates approximately 7,000 items in a month, and offers Chromebooks, computers, WiFi, meeting rooms, test proctoring, printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and notary services. Available programs include storytime, Arts, Crafts, and Yoga.
