The Burke Centre Library serves about 44,000 residents in the city of Burke and is a branch of the Fairfax County Public Library. The library system maintains 2.1 million volumes and circulates approximately 10 million items per year. The Burke Centre Library opened in June 2008 and now houses about 83,000 books, with over 3,000 books in Korean. It provides 12 public Internet computers with Microsoft Office packages, a large-capacity meeting room, a quiet study room, and a range of library programs, which sometimes hold in the outdoor study area.
