The library is publicly funded and holds a collection of 594,000 volumes, 34,000 videos, and 44,446 electronic books, with approximately 4.6 million items circulated annually. The North Park Branch opened its doors in September 2001 and is housed in a 15,000-square-foot building with meeting and study rooms, computers, WiFi, printing, scanning, and copying devices, and a computer lab. It offers storytime events, book discussions, kid's crafts, and STEM Series.
