The Point Branch of the Gloucester County Library serves the people living in the Hayes community. The library system maintains collections of approximately 82,000 volumes, 5,745 DVDs, 6,225 audio, and over 36,000 electronic books and audiobooks, with about 216,800 items circulated annually. The Point Branch opened in 1985 and is now housed in a 3,916-square-foot building in the York River Crossing Shopping Center. It offers library resources, summer reading programs, and other events.
