The Bassett Branch Library is part of the Blue Ridge Regional Library and serves about 850 residents in the Town of Bassett, Henry County. The Library System maintains 247,136 volumes and circulates approximately 450,000 items per year. The Bassett Public Library began in 1939 through the effort of the Bassett Garden Club and became the Bassett Branch of the Blue Ridge Regional Library System in 1992. It is housed in a 6,000-square-foot building with over 63,000 collections and over 30,000 items in circulation monthly. It is open from 10 AM and offers preschool storytime, LEGO Club, and other library events.
