The Piggott Public Library is a public library that serves nearly 4,000 residents in the city of Piggott, one of the two county seats of Clay County, along with Corning in Arkansas. It is one of the affiliate libraries of the Northeast Arkansas Regional Library (NARL), a consortium of five libraries that effectively serve by sharing resources. Founded in 1989, Piggott adds to the NARL system's whole collection of resources, which includes about 200,000 books and serial volumes, nearly 25,000 e-books, more than 6,000 audio files, and more than 9,000 video files. Additionally, the library system's five locations cumulatively saw more than 190,000 visitors annually, over 34,000 registered borrowers, and roughly 238,000 items circulate.
