The Mayflower Public Library serves residents in the city of Mayflower, in Faulkner County, Arkansas. It is an affiliate branch of the Faulkner-Van Buren Regional Library System, a two-county system in central Arkansas founded in 1954. In response to the escalating demand for library services, the Mayflower Public Library was established in 2003. Today, it contributes to the county system's entire resources, which include more than 200,000 books and serial volumes, nearly 5,000 e-books, more than 7,700 audio files, and more than 9,000 video files. Furthermore, there were more than 51,000 registered borrowers, nearly 500,000 items circulated annually, and almost 500,000 people visited the library system each year in all eight member libraries.
