The Horseshoe Lake Branch Library is a public library that serves more than 2,500 residents in the city of Hughes, Arkansas. It is an affiliate branch of the Mississippi County Library System. In 1984, the Keiser Public Library was opened in response to the escalating demand for library services. It contributes to the county library system's entire resources, which include almost 160,000 books and serial volumes, nearly 5,000 e-books, over 2,000 audio files, and more than 600 video files. Furthermore, there were more than 26,000 registered borrowers, about 80,000 items circulated annually, and more than 178,000 people visited the library system each year.
