The Green Forest Public Library is a publicly funded and managed library that serves more than 3,000 residents in the city of Green Forest, in Carroll County, Arkansas. It is an affiliate branch of the Carroll & Madison Library System. In 1996, in response to the growing need for library services, the St. Paul Public Library was opened, which contributes to the overall collection and services of the county library system, which includes more than 118,000 books and serial volumes, more than 18,000 e-books, more than 7,000 audio files, and more than 17,000 video files. Additionally, the library system hosts over 221,000 visitors a year at its six sites, circulates over 332,000 items, and has over 23,000 registered borrowers.
