The Salazar-Ajo Branch Library serves about 2,691 residents of Ajo, an unincorporated community in Pima County, Arizona. Opened in 1946, the library is a part of the Pima County Public Library, which maintains over 1.2 million volumes and circulates six million items per year. It occupies a 5,000-square-foot building with meeting and study rooms, computers, printers, WiFi, and a seed library and offers online tutoring programs and other activities for children and adults.
