The Alice Woods Sunizona Library is a publicly funded and managed library that serves more than 2,000 residents in the city of Pearce, Arizona. It is an affiliate branch of the Cochise County Library District (CCLD). CCLD was founded in the 1970s and started as a bookmobile to cater to remote rural communities. To make up for the library system's current expansion and fully serve its patrons, the Alice Woods Sunizona Library was opened. It contributes to the system's overall collection and services, which now total more than 97,000 books and serial volumes, more than 3,000 e-books, more than 5,000 audio files, and more than 6,000 video files. Over 300 people have registered as borrowers with the library system, which has six sites and seven independent member libraries and circulates more than 67,000 items with more than 34,000 visits each year.
