West Seattle Branch Library serves 750,000 residents in the City of Seattle. Established in 1910, the library was closed for renovation in 1987 and then re-opened on April 3, 2004. The library is part of the Seattle Public Library system. The library system maintains 1.5 million volumes and circulates 11.7 million items per year. West Seattle Branch Library offers books, e-books, movies, e-magazines, e-newspapers, online resources, one meeting room, free Wi-Fi, public computers, copying, printing, scanning, and faxing services.
