The Valencia Branch Library serves about 92,000 residents in the city of Tucson, Pima County. The library is one of the divisions of the Pima County Public Library, which maintains about 1.2 million volumes and circulates six million items per year. The branch opened its doors in 1969 and currently occupies an 18-square-foot building with a seed library, study areas, meeting rooms, computers, printers, and a collection of books and DVDs, including materials in Spanish. It offers online tutoring, homework help, family storytime, and citizenship classes for all patrons.
