The Tumwater Timberland Library serves 25,800 residents in the city of Tumwater in Thurston County. The library was established in 1965 as a storefront library in the Southgate Shopping Center and moved to its current location in 1995 in a 17,377-square-foot building. It is a branch of the Timberland Regional Library, which maintains 1.1 million volumes and circulates over 4.3 million items per year. The Tumwater Branch offers a self-service holds pickup, computers, 3D printing, and programs for children and adults.
