The Tuckahoe Area Library serves about 334,000 residents in the City of Henrico and is one of the Henrico County Public Libraries. The library maintains more than 594,000 volumes and circulates 4.6 million items annually. The Tuckahoe Area Library is housed in a 53,000-square-foot building with a children's area, a storytime room, a pick-up window, 100 public computers, a 15-persons capacity computer lab, and study spaces. It offers storytime, book clubs, computer lessons, Microsoft basic classes, movie days, and numerous other programs for all ages.
