The Sumner Pierce County Library serves over 10,600 residents in the city of Sumner. The library provides free access to several books, CDs, films, and programs to meet the informational, educational, and entertainment needs of the city's children, adults, and families. The library was established in 1979, extended in 1995, and presently occupies the current location with meeting and study rooms, computers, Wi-Fi access, printing, scanning, and faxing services.
