The Southeast Regional Library is a public library that serves nearly 150,000 residents in the city of Gilbert in Searcy County, Arkansas. It is an affiliate branch of the Maricopa County Library District (MCLD). The day following the 1929 stock market crisis, Maricopa County launched a free library system. In response to the growing need for library services, the Southeast Regional Library was founded in 1947. Southeast Regional Library contributes to the overall collection and services of the county library system, which includes nearly 500,000 books and serial volumes, more than 119,000 e-books, more than 51,000 audio files, and more than 122,000 video files. The library system also has over 63,000 registered borrowers, over 8 million materials circulated annually, and over 3.3 million annual visitors.
