The Society Hill Branch Library is one of the four locations of the Darlington County Library System and serves about 430 residents in Society Hill Town. The Library System maintains collections of 850,000 items, including print books, ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, CDs, and videos. Opened in August 2011, the present Society Hill Branch Library is housed in a 4,400-square-foot building located on Carrigan Street. It offers traditional library resources, public computers, and wireless internet services.
