The Dorchester Road Regional Library is a Charleston County Public Library branch and serves 118,608 residents in the North Charleston area. The library contributes to the Library System's 756,468 volumes available on hand and over 1.3 million items circulated annually. Founded in May 1992, Dorchester Road Regional Library has expanded its collections and services to include new technologies, meeting rooms, and dedicated teen and children spaces. It is open from 9 AM Monday to Saturday. It offers Google Chromebooks, computers for public use, notary services, copying, printing, storytime events, and other library programs.
