The Skyway Library is a branch of the King County Library System that serves Seattle residents. The library system holds a collection of 3.6 million volumes and circulates about 20.3 million items per year. The Skyway Branch first opened in the back of Kimball's Bakery on Renton Avenue in 1953 and is now housed in an 8,000-square-foot building that opened in 2016 at 76th Avenue. The library provides books, music, DVDs, computers, WiFi, print, scan, and fax machines, meeting spaces, and study rooms, as well as book drop and a range of programs.
