The Park Place Branch Library is part of the Norfolk Public Library, serving 232,995 residents in the City of Norfolk, Virginia. Park Place Branch Library was opened in February 1970 as the Black Culture Center and became a branch library in 1979, housing the Black Culture Collection as well as other print and digital resources for children, teens, and adults. It has a computer lab with public computers, printers, a scanner, WiFi hotspots, and library events like children's yoga, computer & internet basics, and STEM.
