The NCW Libraries, formerly North Central Washington Libraries, serves 278,000 residents of Wenatchee and Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, Grant, and Okanogan Counties. Established in 1960, the library operates 30 community library branches, maintaining 736,730 volumes with approximately 2.1 million items circulated annually. It offers physical and digital items, books, eBooks, audiobooks, and Spanish language resources for all ages. At the library locations, patrons have access to meeting rooms, free WiFi, copy/scan/fax devices, public computers, early literacy computers, and numerous programs for children, teens, and adults. The library also has a Latino Services department, which provides a range of services for the Latino communities, including English Language Learning classes.
