The King and Queen Branch Library is a publicly funded and managed library that serves almost 2,000 residents in the city of Saint Stephens Church, an unincorporated community in Virginia. Officially opened to the public in 1994, with the initiative of the county, the King and Queen Branch Library was opened as an affiliate branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library located in the old Marriott School and later transferred to a new facility adjacent to the school. The branch contributes to the overall collection and services of the parish library system, which includes more than 300,000 books and serial volumes, almost 5,000 E-Books, more than 16,000 audio files, and more than 12,000 video files. Additionally, the library system circulates more than 700,000 items, has more than 80,000 registered borrowers, and receives more than 500,000 visitors annually across ten locations. Additionally, some of the amenities inside the meeting room that can cater up to 75 patrons include a kitchenette with a sink, monitor, AV cart, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
