The Johnson County Public Library is a public library that serves more than 9,000 residents in the city of Clarksville in Johnson County, Arkansas. It is an affiliate branch of the Arkansas River Valley Regional Library System (ARVRLS), which was founded in 1959. In response to the escalating demand for library services, the Johnson County Public Library was established in 1984. Today, it contributes to the county system's entire resources, which include more than 125,000 books and serial volumes, more than 12,000 e-books, more than 2,000 audio files, and more than 7,000 video files. Furthermore, there were more than 56,000 registered borrowers, nearly 300,000 items circulated annually, and more than 200,000 people visited the library system each year in all seven member libraries.
