The Janaf Branch of Norfolk Public Library serves the residents of Norfolk City. The Library System maintains 550,511 volumes and circulates 823,559 items per year. Janaf Branch Library was named for the Janaf, Inc. Shopping Center, and it opened its doors in 1966. It provides books, DVDs, Sketchbooks, media resources, computers, printers, a scanner, a meeting room, a KidZone, and numerous learning and fun events.
