The Holmen Area Branch Library serves 11,416 residents in the City of Holmen and is part of the La Crosse County Library System. It is the newest addition to the La Crosse County Library and was opened in September 2017. It adds print and digital resources to the Library System's collections of 407,569 physical items circulated annually. Holmen Area Branch Library is housed in an 18,000-square-foot building, which is open for services from Monday to Saturday. It provides ongoing book sales, book-to-screen club, and library events like eco-literacy, Lego, teen time, and bilingual storytime.
