The Hamden Library comprises three library locations serving 60,860 residents in the city of Hamden, New Haven County. The library maintains a collection of 185,446 volumes and circulates approximately 389,250 items per year. It offers meeting rooms, WiFi, desktop computing, hotspots, charging stations, mobile printing, printing/copying/scanning, one-on-one computer help, and homebound delivery services. The library system's seed library, located at the Miller Memorial Library, offers a variety of herbs, vegetables, and flower seeds. Programs available to the public include storytime, crafts, French conversation group, group guitar lessons, and book club.
