The George D. Krupp Library is a public library that serves more than 64,000 residents in the city of Waltham, in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. It is an affiliated library of the Gann Academy, a privately funded organization founded in 1977. Furthermore, it is operating on a non-profit financial model. For use in classes, research, and pleasure reading, the library's collection comprises 8,000 print and electronic materials, databases, and various library guides. Popular fiction, cutting-edge non-fiction, classic Judaica books, and periodicals are all included in the print collection. Databases, e-books, and digital audiobooks are among the electronic resources that are available round-the-clock, and there is also access to interlibrary loan through the Boston Public Library. At all grade levels and in all subject areas, the library media specialist works with teachers to deliver teaching in research and information literacy skills. Asking the library media specialist for assistance with research or recommendations for light reading is advised for students. Additionally, our stunning new Library Learning Commons offers a variety of areas for group work, individual study, student groups, performances, author visits, and other activities.
