The library was founded in 1988 and is part of the Henrico County Public Library, which maintains 705,960 volumes and circulates approximately 4.1 million items per year. The library is housed in a 12,672-square-foot building with a dedicated teen area, study and meeting rooms, a garden, self-check machines, and parking spaces.
